Marcus W. Rupp

CEO & Founder

  • Over 40 years of accomplishments across Private Banking, Information Technology, Property Development, Hospitality, Art, Marketing, Branding, Management Consulting and the Beauty Industry.
  • First venture was building bespoke IT systems for Swiss industry and pharma giants including Novartis, starting at just age 18. Marcus subsequently expanded his family’s leading multinational non-medical beauty treatment holding company, operating three business lines under six brands and over 240 treatment centers globally.
  • Forming the weight loss arm of the holding group in Switzerland, Marcus also created its brand identity and led the brands expansion. The Hong Kong holding company (Global Beauty HK) was subsequently sold to EQT Partners, ( Sweden ) in 2002 for over US$300 million.
  • Fluent in English, German and Spanish, Marcus thrives on connecting with partners worldwide to drive growth, democratize credit and bring more people into the financial fold.

  • Implemented portfolio trading systems at over 25 clients across the EMEIA region
  • Designed operating models through to delivery of the final product supported by process re-engineering.
  • Experience working as a Consultant (Big 4), with software vendors and within Financial Institutions.
  • Understanding of the fundamental challenges in today's financial markets.

Alistair Davis

Chief Technology Officer

  • A highly experienced Chief Technology Officer commanding over 20 years' experience in leading major architectural design across Banking, specialising in Payments. Strong consulting background having worked for top tier firms including Accenture, EY and Deloitte at leadership levels within their Banking and Capital Markets practices.
  • Banking Clients include Deutsche Bank, UBS, HSBC and Lloyds Banking Group as well as regulatory interaction with the Bank of England and Financial Conduct Authority.
  • Architecture experience includes leading the New Payments Architecture design for Pay.UK, establishing and leading architecture functions from greenfield to execution, front to back functional design, strategic technology roadmaps, end-to-end process transformation.

Dave Allen

  • 35+ years business and IT experience, having worked with most of the major UK banks and many other financial institutions in both business development and delivery roles.
  • Heavily focused on payments, mostly from a vendor perspective, held senior posts in equensWorldline, VocaLink, Coopers and Lybrand, Logica, Wincor Nixdorf and other IT consulting companies.
  • Involved in Payments Industry discussions and initiatives on Digital Identity and member of the Participant Advisory Council from 2018-2022.
